Dates for registration and for determining school readiness:

16.1.2023-27.1.2023 in the morning and afternoon (date selection via the homepage possible).

Families will receive the letter from the Directorate of Education in December with instructions to register at ONE school.
You will come to us once in January AND once in February for registration and school readiness assessment. For the FIP project, there will also be an orientation meeting.

Registration for school readiness assessment

With the "Einladung zur Schülereinschreibung", which you will receive from the Vienna Directorate of Education, you can make an appointment with the school of your choice. The "Einladung zur Schülereinschreibung" is usually sent out in the 4th quarter of the year before your child becomes of compulsory school age.

If you would like to enrol your child in the Stubenbastei primary school, please make an appointment for school enrolment. For this purpose, please fill out the form "Appointment".
 

Data acquisition

Please bring the following documents with you:

• Invitation letter from the Vienna Directorate of Education (please note that this letter can only be handed in at one school)
• a proof of registration (current confirmation of registration)
• the child's birth certificate
• document proving the child's citizenship (proof of citizenship or passport)
• proof of custody - in the case of separated parents
• proof of religious confession
• National insurance number of the child
• Registration form (front and back)
• Confirmation of kindergarten attendance
• Notification of need for after-school care (even if your child will attend a private after-school care centre)

School place:

Parents and school will be informed about the actual school place by the Education Directorate for Vienna in April 2022. You will receive this confirmation of a school place and an after-school care place in writing (in the event of a cancellation, you will be asked to contact Department 6 of the Vienna Directorate of Education or a new school).

Language assessment

For some children (with a mother tongue other than German), an additional language assessment (language screening) must also be carried out from 2019. This appointment (Mika-D) will be determined at the time of enrolment if required.
 

Examination by the school doctor

A school medical examination also takes place within the framework of school enrolment. 
An additional appointment must also be made for this examination at the time of enrolment.
Please also bring your child's vaccination certificate to the school medical examination!
